How the Data Works

Source. Every figure here comes from the parallel count run by the National Citizens' Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL), delivered in batches every few minutes. This site adds no numbers of its own; it aggregates and presents what NAMFREL transmits.

Partial and unofficial. Only the Commission on Elections certifies results. Until it does, treat everything here as an early indication. Reporting progress is shown per contest, as a share of precincts with a complete accepted return.

Completeness. A precinct's result for a contest becomes visible only once one transmission holds a row for exactly the candidates that contest expects, an explicit zero included. Incomplete or conflicting transmissions are held back and never merged, so a partial batch cannot distort a tally.

Seats vs. votes. The 40 party-representative seats follow official allocation rules, not raw vote share. This site shows the party vote and its share until an authorised provisional or certified allocation is published, and it labels which one it is showing.

The barangay map. Result rows carry no map geometry. Barangay-level views join each precinct to a barangay through an audited precinct → POP → PSGC → boundary chain; names are never a join key, and a barangay with no accepted returns is shown as such rather than guessed.
